I will presume the number is reflective of units shipped to the USA as opposed to total Special Edition models produced for the model year. So far, I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Montego Blue 1996 Miata Popular Equipment Package We just recently bought our Miata a few months ago. We had to have one after driving our son's Miata (See his car 'Myles' below). Alothough we have only owned the car a short time, we participate in all of our clubs activities and runs. I haven't done anything real major to the car and don't really plan to. I got the factory Mazda painted mud flaps on all four wheel arches, Moss Motorsport scuff plates, Factory CD & Cassette unit (like the one found in the STO edition), a cockpit cover, Black Voodoo shift knob and a Monster Motorsport 4-point roll bar. The only other thing we are even considering is possibly a hard top down the road. Our car originally had a hard top (it has the rear latch recievers, wiring and button for the rear defrostor) but it was sold seperatly before we bought the car. Classic Red 1990 Miata B Package I bought my 1990 Miata in December of 2000 with 60,000 miles on it. The car was totally stock and exceptionaly well maintained. As a 'B Package' car, it was pretty fully loaded. The previous (and original) owner had all reciepts sience new along with the original window sticker. I also got the factory tonneau cover along with my car. I didn't want to take away from the cars stunning and original apperance. So I decided to keep my modifications short, reversable and semi-factory looking. So, here is my modificatons: Mazda Mud Flaps (painted to match) on all four wheels, Moss Motorsport White Gauge Faces, Leather Door Pockets, Silver Mazda Cassette Cd Stereo taken from a 93' Miata LE, Chrome Rings around the air vents, polished Voodoo shift knob, Polished Voodoo brake handle, viper alarm system with motion detector and it puts the windows up when you set the alarm, and lastly and most expensivbe by far a new Factory Hard Top.
